Note: We meet at the south end of the park, near Dimond Avenue. The address listed here is for a school near where we meet. Parking near that school would be ideal. There is also parking available along Fruitvale Ave/Lyman Road (next to the tennis courts) as well as a very small lot near the dead end of Wellington St. Accessible via public transit: take either 20, 21, or 39 (once an hour) bus from Fruitvale BART station.

Note: We meet at the “Tot Lot” on Joaquin Miller Road, near the LOWER intersection of Joaquin Miller Road and Sanborn Drive. Does not meet our easily accessible by public transit criteria. If you would like to carpool, please reach out to the group. Public transit: bus 31 from Fruitvale BART station, available every 30 min.  

Accessible via public transit: take 51A, O, or 78 (once an hour) bus from Fruitvale BART station. Take  51A or 20 bus from 12th St Oakland BART station.

Note: Enter the parking lot on Sherman. If it’s full, parking can be found one block south on Eagle if you turn right out of the lot. The short streets off of Eagle that appear to connect to the park are actually fenced off. Most of the park is undeveloped so there is no parking lot on the West side as it might appear in maps. Note: The group meets on the lawn and adjacent playground along Magnolia Ave across from Wells Fargo Bank (344 Highland Ave). Street parking.
